I think this is overly optimistic. As of right now, no AI model understands software at the system level. You cannot even get ChatGPT to understand the tradeoffs of a fork based TCP server and a multithreaded TCP server. It cannot understand the reasons why memory mapped files might be a good or bad idea for a database. It cannot think about a future which is not based on the past. It's very good at doing things humans can do creatively, like image generation or creative writing, but SaaS solves system level problems, not generative problems.
